Had a great time at Pine Trails elementary in Allegan. I spoke to over three hundred kids about the joys of having their own adventures in the great outdoors. The next day I traveled to Robinson Elementary (in Grand Haven) to participate “Under the big top.” (Grand Haven Elementary’s annual celebration of reading and writing) I had multiple speaking opportunities to hundreds of third through fifth grade students. What made things even better is that I acquired a new animal…a shoulder mount black bear! (See if you can spot the bear in the pictures)
